IAMD Meetings are on the third Thursday of the month 6:30-9:30 p.m.

The meetings will be in a NEW LOCATION. We will be back in the UTLC Building in Room T410, it is easy to locate and has close parking! Enter from 10 Mile and park in the first parking lot on the left (parking lot "A", building "9" on the linked "Lawrence Tech Map" above). Enter the building by a circular drive that has a connecting walk-way between the UTLC and Engineering Building. When you enter the UTLC building the elevator is on your immediate right. Take the elevator to the 4th floor. T410 is right next to the elevator. Restrooms are also adjacent to the elevators and stairways.
Our meetings will start and end with networking (6:30-7:00- Networking) and speakers start at 7 p.m. Refreshments served.
April 20, 2017 - Ken Johnson- Inventor of Phase 10 and other games will have a two part presentation.
Part 1 -"Is your idea / invention a moneymaker? How to determine this."
Part 2 - "How to Invent on a shoestring budget."
Ken has spoken to our group several times on product development and licensing. He also serves on the IAMD Board.
May 18, 2017 - Paul Riser, TechTown- " Tools and Resources to Leverage for Innovators in Metro Detroit's Ecosystem" Paul is the Director, Technology-Based Entrepreneurship at TechTown Detroit.
June 15, 2017 - Wissam Aoun, Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the International Intellectural Property Law Clinc at University of Detroit Mercy will be our speaker. Dr. Aoun will talk about the services provided by his Legal Clinic...
July 20, 2017 - Ken Yee - "Resources for Getting your Products Manufactured" Ken works in Project Management and Design and is a long-time member and board member of the IAMD, as well as the V.P. of the ICMM (Inventor's Council of Mid-Michigan.).
August - We will have a picnic!!! More details to come on this event!
